The Pousada Catarinense is located approximately 400 meters from the House of Dom Inacio. We have convienent parking, adequate electricity ( 220 volts), Each of our 33 rooms has an electric fan and an individual bath with hot water shower. Rooms are configured for 1, 2, 3 or 4 persons. Each room is spotlessly maintained. Beds are comfortable and sanitary. We also have a soccer field immediately adjacent to the dining room in which 3 meals are served daily. Our food is fresh and locally raised. We feature a wide variety of fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits which satisfy even the most enthusiatic vegetarians. We do also serve meat and chicken for those who prefer. Brazilian cuisine is delicious and nutritious. It is not highly seasoned and is considered a source of great enjoyment by our guests.

We are happy to be able to support the prayer and meditation activities of our guests with our new grotto and waterfall (see pictures).

We have a complete transport service featuring 2 new, safe and comfortable vehicles. One is a taxi sized vehicle and the other, a large executive van with a capacity of 12 passengers. These vehicles are authorized for transport by the government of Brazil. With these vehicles, we are able to meet a wide variety of your transportation needs while in Brazil. By arrangement, we are happy to meet you at the airport at a reasonable price. We can also support your site seeing needs during your free time. (see pictures)
